Living in a State of Gratitude

Are you living in a state of gratitude?  There is power when you live in gratitude.  The movie The Secret taught me some important things, first of all your thoughts become things.  What you focus on that is what you will attract in your life.
Living in a state of gratitude means your thoughts should be on being grateful for the things you have NOW. By living in this state of being....the universal law of attraction says that we will attract into your life the things we focus and think about ....if your thoughts are on lack (negativity) you  will attract that. But if your thoughts are on your many blessings than the universe says lets give more things for them to be grateful for......so remember GRATITUDE attracts what we want.

Another area that I've notice people having a hard time with is accepting a blessing from others.....remember when someone gives you a $20.00 bill it is the giver that shall receive a blessing. So many times I see people want to cut off the other persons blessing by not accepting the gift.  If someone is touched to give you a gift. Don't reject it! Accept it with open arms and "feel" that gratitude in your heart. Say "THANK YOU" and mean it from the bottom of your heart. I guarantee you that the person that has given you that blessing will receive their own.

We forget that our attitude of GRATITUDE is what attract those blessings into your life. If you are affirming that you  will receive abundance in your life. That is  what you are manifesting/affirming...why are you than surprise when you receive it. Your job is not to know where it will come from ....your job is to feel the abundance and be GRATEFUL that it's manifested
Here are my tips to help you live in a state of GRATITUDE
1) Keep a Gratitude Journal - every day set some time aside to write down what you are grateful for today.  Big or small, we all have several things each day we are blessed for.

2) Visual reminders - use post a notes around the house to trigger that feeling of gratitude. In your mirrors, on your
refrigerator, in your wallet.  Write positive affirmations ex: I am thankful for all the food I have in my refrigerator.  The list goes on.

3) Gratitude Partner - If you hang around with negativity people that is what you will "catch" make a conscious effort to hang around people that  support a grateful lifestyle.

4)Change your Self-Talk - SO IMPORTANT to change your self-talk!!   Research has shown that we can change our mood by changing the tone of the things we say to ourselves.  Say positive, uplifting, grateful things to yourself. Start your day with this positive affirmation.  Ex:  I  AM grateful for the many blessings coming my way today!

When we learn to master the art of living in a state of gratitude we will live a blessed, fulfilled, and awesome life.

Don't Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won if he'd stuck it out. Don't give up, though the pace seems slow - You may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than  It seems to a faint and faltering man; Often the struggler has given up When he might have captured the victor's cup, And he learned too late, when the night slipped down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out - The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are - It may be near when it seems afar; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - It's when things seem worst that...

An Act of Kindness

What is Kindness?  Do you practice Kindness in your everyday life?  In the dictionary the meaning of Kindness is is the act or the state of being kind - —i.e. marked by goodness and charitable behavior. The best portion of a good man's life - his little, nameless, unremembered acts of  kindness  and love.  William Wordsworth Something happen this week "an act of kindness" that brings me to share with you the importance for us to have kindness in our daily life. A few days ago, there was a knock at my door. My dogs started barking. My kids questioned who was at the door. Like normal, I looked out the crack of the window to see who it was...I saw a small blue car at the entrance of my driveway and saw a man at the door. With my kids behind me and my dogs still barking, I opened the door and say "Yes, can I help you?". The gentlemen handed me a small bag, as it was placed in my hands it felt soft ( I couldn't imagine what was inside of it ...
