Facing the Truth

Facing the Truth. On Thursday, I drove to the Lee County Clerk of the Courts to get copies of the truth. As I drove to face this truth that God had already revealed to me. I couldn't believe that a person with authority, would end up being a lair.  Sadly, I also had to face the truth that I trusted her and was vulnerable. I realized I had to ask for forgiveness to those that I had hurt and once again I found myself seeking forgiveness to myself for making the wrong choice in trusting a person that know I wish I would have never meet. I also had so many things going on in my mind. As I drove to the court house, my angelic team send me a number sign #4444. I was reassured I wasn't alone.  I arrive and got my number #124 (1+2+4= 7) totally understanding I am in a 7 personal numerology year.  The truth was finally being revealed.  Ironically, the person whom had marked things on these papers that were NOT true, saw me sitting there waiting. She came t...

Bad or Good

Choices. We've made bad ones. We've made good ones. I stated "we've" because I too have made bad and good choices. I have learned from those choices.  I am about to share some important life journey lessons and how you can move forward living a happier more fulfilling life.  The first thing you must recognize and accept are your choices. No matter how old you are once you become an adult - there is no one to blame but yourself. STOP blaming the life, your mom, your dad, your family etc. At some point in your life, you made life changing choices.  I share this because of experience. When I was young I blamed others for my life. It wasn't until I began to grow and learn. I realized I (me, myself, & I) attract ALL the events that had happen to me. I choice this experience for a reason. I had to go through this for a purpose.  Second, you must learn to forgive. Forgive everyone and most importantly forgive yourself. Once again, I share...

Sometimes You Win

Sometimes you win but in the outcome you’ve actually loose. Today I was reminded of an event in my life that happened 5 years ago on this very day.  My heart filled with emotional joy and sadness. I had "won" a court decision that was in the works for 2 years. A legal journey that served for my growth.  As I called my mother to share the joy of my "win" there was also loss. The loss of years without my children. The isolation was unbearable. As I sit here today sharing with you that 5 years ago I won, I also share that I loss 5 years without my children.  Joy and sadness can be felt in one photo. Captured without my knowing.  Everything happens for a purpose in our life. Personal and spiritual growth was the purpose of my experiences.  As a mother, my love for all three of my children is equal and everlasting.  Was I perfect. No. We are not perfect beings. Was there so much going on within my inner circle that create the events, 💯 yes! O...

Milestone of Overcoming Verbal Abuse

On June 2011, I created a community Facebook page to help others code with toxic relationships.  The month of June 2019 marks 8 years that I have been managing the page that I create in 2011. When I look at the years pasted, I would have never thought this page would have reached over 8,000 followers.  My heart is filled with gratitude to help in any small way I can and hoping that my goal is to form a non-profit organization so that I may reach and help in more ways than just making my presence on Facebook. So many have shared their stories.  I share valuable resources links below Helpful Links Personal Traits in Abusive Relationships  Signs of an Abusive Personality  Read More  National Domestic Violence Hotline      1-800-799-SAFE (7233) Overcoming Verbal Abuse  was born on Jun 29, 2011 by me.  At first I kept my identity from this page because I was still living with the person that was abusive t...

For a Purpose

I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we're all teachers - if we're willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door. Marla Gibbs For a purpose. When I was 14 years old, I clearly remember that the events I was going through in my life made me thing "There has to be a purpose in my life to have experience what I was experiencing at the time" I didn't understand it but deep within my BE~ing ~ my soul was preparing me for many more experiences that I would have to face. I wondered why I was born to go through what I was going through.....it wasn't until I had my awakening. It all made sense. I choose my parents. I came here for a divine purpose. I came here to learn through all the lessons that I have been through and am continuing to go through for a bi...

3 Simple Steps for Self Love

I want to share "3 Simple Steps for Self-Love" that I have personally used to empower, heal, and truly discover the meaning of Self-Love. The first step is  awareness.  Begin by being completely aware of your thoughts. Thoughts that clearly are meant to self sabotage yourself. When we become aware of these thoughts we begin to be mindful of negative thought patterns that do not serve you or your well-being. The second is  forgiveness . This is a tough one because I am asking you to forgive yourself. The key to self-love is to truly become aware of all the junk that isn't serving your personal growth. We can be our own worse critic. We can find it extremely hard to forgive our own self. When we don't forgive ourselves for our shortcomings we remain stagnant. When we remain stagnant we are unable to see the beauty within our soul. The third step is  gratitude.  The third step is so easy to put into practice once we forgive ourselves. When we free ourselves from...

A Mother's Story

As this week began, I received some news that left me shocked, heartbroken, and more determined than ever to share my story and bring awareness to things that are kept in the dark by many.                                                          My Story. I am a mother of three children (pictured above) my oldest son is now 25 years old going on 26 years old and my twins are 18 years old going on 19 years old.  For the last four years since 2012, my twins were alienated from me. They were brainwashed, controlled, and manipulated  because after 15 years in which I was being physically, emotionally, and verbally abused along with being threatened in this distributive marriage.   I lived with a man that was a narcissist and when I left everything was done in their (my ex's family) power to control the situation with...

Who's that Girl?

As I share this photo with you.  This photo taken sometime in 2005.   You may ask "Who's that girl?" That girl was a  sad mistreated girl.  A girl that had spend years pretending all was well.  A girl that was stressed, depressed, afraid, hurt, abused, and didn't know her self-worth.  Who's that girl? This girl spend years  wondering "WHY"  things had happened the way they had.   This girl smiled in front of peers. This girl attended regular church services with her heart in pieces because moments prior she had been emotionally and verbally abused at home. This girl kept years of this treatment hidden from the world.  This girl that  you see in this photo wished many times that she could die....run away....wanted so desperately for the pain that she felt to stop.  This girl spend years "ASKING" God to change someone else until she began "ASKING" God to change her.  Something happened to this girl. She realize...

Emotions Are High

Yesterday's Angel Message was pray. I know God and my guardian angels are always sending me powerful positive messages that I need.  Yesterday my emotions were high.  My dear assistant handed me a ticket to his graduation. This ticket is not just a ticket to his graduation but also to my twins whom graduate with his class too. I am an alienated parent ( Parental Alienation ) therefore when he gave me this ticket, my heart was overjoyed. I held back my tears.  I haven't seen my 17 year old twins in almost 3 years.  May 31st will be the day I will see them.  I reached out to their father to make sure I received a couple of tickets but replied to me that I needed to ask the kids.  I did but have yet to get an answer.  The ticket to me is a keepsake of this special day. As a mother, you know we keep everything. From their first bottle, clothes, the bracelet that they first sporty at the hospital. I blog about it because this is how I can express my ...

Do you love yourself? Have you forgiven yourself?

In the last three years, I've had to learn how to forgive myself in order to truly love myself. Life throws us curve balls.  We all have experience current life events that were traumatic.  We've done things we didn't like.  We've been treated poorly. So many things could have happened.  I will share a little about what happened to me and how I was able to take the advice I am about to share with you and change my life around. I spend a majority of my life blaming others for my unhappiness.  First mistake, I made. I had to take responsibility for my own mistakes.  I was in an abusive relationship for 15 years. I blamed God for not changing my situation. I lived feeling that God must not love me. What happened to me was I developed a mindset that if God didn't love me why should I love myself. My reasoning to this thought was the fact I was mistreated, called names, put down for so many years.....God didn't hear my prayers. It wasn't until I chan...

You're perfect just the way you are!

When we look at ourselves, we tend to see only what we think we need to improve or fix. Somehow, we push aside our many wonderful gifts and strengths and even wish we were more like someone else - someone "perfect". But there's no such thing! And why try to be someone else when you're already someone fabulous? I picked up a Woman's World magazine today which is one of my favorite. I read this little poem. I wanted to share it with you because sometimes we are victims of put-downs by other people that create those feelings that we are not perfect. Don't allow anyone to speak negative words to you or at you - put you down - there are people that do this and they call it "joke" - it's not a joke. If you start listening to those comments about you - and you listen to them - you start believing them - that is when this poem comes in  read it daily. Affirm that you are perfect, special, beautiful, worthy of greatness!!
