On Wednesday evening on my drive home from work, my check engine light indicator came on. The car itself was driving perfectly fine. I arrived home and told my dad about it and he said he would look at it in the morning. Next morning, I went to the car and the light was still on.  I called the car dealership to take the car in on Friday (my day off) they asked if I had put gas in the car and I said a few days ago I had. So I made the appointment for Friday morning at 8:30 AM.  I had to cancel my training session. I also had to cancel a class I was schedule to take as well. This morning as I drove on I-75 to the dealership, I was a little tired. I also realized I am so grateful I do not have to drive on I-75 in the morning rush hour. I arrived to Coconut Ford and told the service guy, I had an appointment and the whole story. As Dylan the service guy I had the appointment with comes over and we begin to talk about the situation. I always love receiving signs and confirmation that my ancestors are with me. I love receiving divine signs all together. Coins from heaven. Feathers from my angels. All are deeply special to me. I am forever grateful each and every day to be blessed with signs, for I receive them every day.  Today was extra special. Before work I went to Walmart to buy a few things. When I went to the self check out there I found some coins from heaven. Immediately, I express gratitude to my angels. I went to work. It's the day after Memorial Day so it's kinda slow (until the very end) - so Leo comes to work out and before he leaves he treated himself to a protein smoothie (we have the most delicious smoothies, our secret ingredient is LOVE) so Leo sits at the counter and we begin to chat. Sun Therapy  Memorial Day at Barefoot Beach On this Memorial Day, my dad and I went to Barefoot Beach Preserve County Park in Bonita Springs, Florida.  It had been 2 years since my last trip to the beach. Due to Hurricane Irma and the red tide.   It was such a great day. I love listening to the water.  I am thankful to have this opportunity to enjoy life and say thank you to all the men and women whom serve our country.  We should always remember and be thankful not just on a holiday. Girls Movie Date I remember watching Aladdin with my kids when they were small.  I am enjoying seeing all these favorites come to life. Aladdin by far has been my best.  This movie was spectacular.   My girlfriends and I went to watch it and we all agree it was AMAZING. We watched it in IMAX 3D and it was 100% worth it. If you haven't gone to watch it - GO!! You will love it.

I wanted to share som e weekly tips on how you can get out of the rut! Do you want a better life? I will be sharing weekly tips on what I want to call "Project Self Improvement". Happiness is everywhere! But some people are having a hard time defining the true meaning of happiness in their life. When you begin to "work" on yourself for example improving your self you can and will achieve a happier meaning to your life.  I will share 5 tips a week for the next few weeks. I challenge you to practice these 5 tips daily for the next week. Continue on adding the weekly tips. Determine which ones work for you and your lifestyle.  And practice them daily. Tip 1:  Talk to Someone - Find a happy person to talk too. Ask them their secret to happiness. Are you living in a state of gratitude?  There is power when you live in gratitude.  The movie The Secret taught me some important things, first of all your thoughts become things.  What you focus on that is what you will attract in your life. Living in a state of gratitude means your thoughts should be on being grateful for the things you have NOW. By living in this state of being....the universal law of attraction says that we will attract into your life the things we focus and think about ....if your thoughts are on lack (negativity) you  will attract that. But if your thoughts are on your many blessings than the universe says lets give more things for them to be grateful for......so remember GRATITUDE attracts what we want. Another area that I've notice people having a hard time with is accepting a blessing from others.....remember when someone gives you a $20.00 bill it is the giver that shall receive a blessing. So many times I see people want to cut off the other persons

I am reading the book  " Women Who Run With the Wolves" book written by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. I highly recommend it to  ALL women! I came across this sentence  A woman may try to hide from the devastation 's of her life, but the bleeding , the loss of life's energy, will continue until  she recognizes the predator for what it is and contains it.   Immediately, I was enlighten to a truth. I was that woman hiding the devastation of being abused from the world. I pretended to be happy for a very long time.  My soul was bleeding inside. My aura energy was losing life. I continued reading ( I only recommend you read 2 to 3 pages a day, allow yourself to reflect on what you've read as this is a very profound book) and this next sentence spoke to me. There are times when things that happen in your life seems as if it's the end of the world. You ask yourself "Why me" or "Why now" but as the quote states it's overcoming these life "challenges" that at the end give your life more meaning!  Life is not easy. But we have to realize that when we are faced with challenges or as I call them "life lessons" ...there is something that has to be learned......sometimes we will face these "lessons" over and over again.....basically my friend it means you haven't "learned" the lesson.  The next time you are faced with a challenge or lesson.....take a few minutes to just sit....close your eyes....ask yourself "WHAT is it that I need to learn from this?"  once you've asked that question....just close your eyes and in a stillness.....you will get your answer!

Spiritual Enlightenment  is the ability to understand that there is a higher being in the world. People often think that they are their own greatest success. A lot of times the decisions that you make and the chooses that you have, give us greater opportunities in life to succeed and achieve some of your goals and dreams.  It is not until a tragedy occurs that in some of us, our inner being is awakened. People have an excellent opportunity to learn how to relax and let your spiritual being be in control of your life. A lot of us do not realize that until later in life. And all along, if we were to just trust our spiritual being that will lead us to spiritual enlightenment. Life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows and hurt and pain. But when you learn that there is a higher power and someone else in control you learn how to enjoy peace and harmony in this world.

My Mother  How many teenagers blame their mother, father, and even God for their life and everything that happens to them? I will be  very honest, I was one of those teenagers. After first  watching the movie "The Secret",   I realized that blaming my life situations  was keeping me from living my true purpose.   The choices  we make lead us to our path....if we make bad choices  we  will be faced  with tough, rough roads...but if we choose good than we will be in smooth, safe paths. Since becoming spiritually awaken and truly living life in a state of gratitude, I have learn that every lesson is meant for learning, for growth, to guide you into your path towards your life purpose.  NO ONE is responsible for the choices you have made but YOU.   Parents - you should not blame yourself for your children decision. When you see LOVE in everything....you are in a state of happiness....gratitude....joyful....peaceful....you are in a state of bliss! I wanted to share this thought with you today because of something that happened to me the other day. Do you know that YOU are responsible for YOUR own happiness? There are times when we have to deal with lessons in life. We grown up with divorce parents, sometimes without parent(s), or sad events that effect our lives. I know because I have been in those shoes. I will be honest there was a time in my life that I blamed everyone else for my happiness (because I wasn't living a happy life).....it wasn't until I began "dealing" with me that I began to discover so many things. I know that "I am responsible for my own happiness!" not my parents, not the bad relationships, not my family, not even my children.  I am responsible.
