Friday the 13th

Yesterday Friday the 13th,  my sister and I traveled to North Carolina. My daughter gets married on Sunday. It's an exciting time in my life. I am so very grateful to God for this blessing. Yesterday we flew in to North Carolina. It was so cold and raining. We picked up my dress for the wedding. I had mailed in to Young Cleaners in Concord, NC early because I wanted to make sure it would  be pressed and ready for me when I arrived. I was so pleased with the owner Zelda. She eased my worries and it was a pleasure to meet her after talking to her over the phone several times before I felt sure to mail in my dress.  After we picked up my dress, we drove to the hotel - Homewood Suites by Hilton in Concord. I had called the night before to request early check in. We had woke up very early to begin our travel day. I was so happy when the room I selected was ready and we were able to get settled in. I texted my daughter to let her know we were here and to let me ...

Sister's Gathering

I love Painting With A Twist - Fort Myers . My aunts came to visit the family. And they had a Sister's Gathering. We had such a wonderful evening. We painted. We sang. We dance. We laughed. And laughed some more. We painted. We made family memories that will forever be cherish in our hearts. Not all of the family could attend. But some of us made it to celebrate with the Golden Girls (my mom and her sisters) - It was on Friday and I normally am off on Fridays but this Friday I had to work. I thought I was going to get there late but I was able to leave work earlier than expected. I am a regular at PWAT and so I arrive and let them know I was there (because IF I would have gotten there late the artist was going to paint my background) but I arrived and was happy I could make it early. When I got there the owner Cynthia handed me a bottle of wine as a token of appreciation for being a regular. I was so thankful. I didn't expect it. I asked if I could get a photo. I truly ...

Memories I Cherish

I am going through my old videos and I came across some wonderful memories that I will cherish forever. My LOVES in one video. I came across this voicemail message from my princess from 2010. Cherished Message. Simple tokens are what a mother cherishes the most. I still have videos without sound of my son playing baseball and baseball. I ask myself, will I be that mother with all her kids tokens so when the grand-kids come over, I will show them those tokens. My answer is yes. My oldest is 29 years old and I still have all his tokens from kindergarten. I am thinking about the holidays and I absolutely love hanging all of my kids Christmas ornaments. I can't be the only one.  Are you that mother? With all your kids school stuff? I still have clothes, bottles, blankets, etc.... I know. I tell myself I will get 3 big containers and put each of my child's things in their own keepsake container. I have been saying that for the last 7 years. I really got to do it th...

Milestone of Overcoming Verbal Abuse

On June 2011, I created a community Facebook page to help others code with toxic relationships.  The month of June 2019 marks 8 years that I have been managing the page that I create in 2011. When I look at the years pasted, I would have never thought this page would have reached over 8,000 followers.  My heart is filled with gratitude to help in any small way I can and hoping that my goal is to form a non-profit organization so that I may reach and help in more ways than just making my presence on Facebook. So many have shared their stories.  I share valuable resources links below Helpful Links Personal Traits in Abusive Relationships  Signs of an Abusive Personality  Read More  National Domestic Violence Hotline      1-800-799-SAFE (7233) Overcoming Verbal Abuse  was born on Jun 29, 2011 by me.  At first I kept my identity from this page because I was still living with the person that was abusive t...

My Mother

My Mother  How many teenagers blame their mother, father, and even God for their life and everything that happens to them? I will be  very honest, I was one of those teenagers. After first  watching the movie "The Secret",   I realized that blaming my life situations  was keeping me from living my true purpose.   The choices  we make lead us to our path....if we make bad choices  we  will be faced  with tough, rough roads...but if we choose good than we will be in smooth, safe paths. Since becoming spiritually awaken and truly living life in a state of gratitude, I have learn that every lesson is meant for learning, for growth, to guide you into your path towards your life purpose.  NO ONE is responsible for the choices you have made but YOU.   Parents - you should not blame yourself for your children decision. When we begin to take responsibility for your choices, a shift will occur. On Mother's Day, I was able to share ...

Your Decision To Have A Child

What a beautiful quote. I am a mother of three children.  I know that my heart loves each of them equally.  There are days I wish I had 3 little ones again.  I am currently experiencing Parental Alienation with two of my children. I feel I am walking with a torn heart daily. Although I am going through this in my life, I won't allow it to keep me from being grateful for so many things. I am forever thankful for my kids. I love them with all my heart. I am grateful for my family. No matter what they have always been there for me. I am grateful for my friends. I am grateful for my followers, because you've shared your story with me. I will continue to coach you to live healthy and happy. There will be times you will feel down. That is part of life and being human. But I am here to tell you that if you are willing to change your mind, you will be able to change your life. You have the power!  For more information on  Parental Alienation

A Mother's Pride

Today as I sit here relaxing on this day May 8, 2016 celebrating Mother's Day just BEing. I reflect on memories shared with my children. I am grateful for all three of my children (Benny, Ashley, and Junior) and I wish them best in this world. Today, I share the photo I took with my oldest son on Friday May 6, 2016, so proud of his accomplishments. That is "A Mother's Pride" to see your children happy, healthy, and reaching for their own goals in life. My oldest son graduated from FSW with his Associates in Arts.  As you can see with the smile on my face. I was very proud of him. Happy that I was able to share his moment. I pray that Ashley and Junior will reach their own goals. I want what's best for my kids. I want them to know that they are more than capable of reaching their dreams. It's been four years since I've heard from them on special occasions and I was about to say that's okay but it's not okay. It's not okay to alienate your mot...

A Mother's Story

As this week began, I received some news that left me shocked, heartbroken, and more determined than ever to share my story and bring awareness to things that are kept in the dark by many.                                                          My Story. I am a mother of three children (pictured above) my oldest son is now 25 years old going on 26 years old and my twins are 18 years old going on 19 years old.  For the last four years since 2012, my twins were alienated from me. They were brainwashed, controlled, and manipulated  because after 15 years in which I was being physically, emotionally, and verbally abused along with being threatened in this distributive marriage.   I lived with a man that was a narcissist and when I left everything was done in their (my ex's family) power to control the situation with...

My Mom's Birthday Celebration

My mother's birthday celebration was a huge success. Feeling so grateful for everyone who joined us on extra special day. Not only was it my mom's birthday. I took her to  Painting with a Twist in Fort Myers, Florida . Today's painting was in honor of my grandma. My grandma had Alzheimer's and so it was that much special to paint this piece today.  They raised $700.00 what a great cause. Afterwards, we went to eat dinner. Lots of laughter. Making memories to cherish a lifetime.  So thankful for my family. Love them with all my heart. In this photo my cousins, my aunts, my sisters, and the birthday girl my mom with the crown.  Cherish Your Family Now!

Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Benny  My Son

Answered Prayer

Have you ever had an  "Answered Prayer" ?  Today, was one of the happiness day of my life! After 2 years, God  answered my prayer . It was a long painful wait but honesty won at the end. The funny thing is that the battle never had to have taken place.  See my battle was winning 50/50 shared parental custody of my twins. Something so simple yet something that was fought so that I would not have.......I waited 2 years to have my day in court. To face a judge and to pour my heart and soul that I loved my children, that I was always a good mother, that even though they do not want anything to do with me, it wasn't because I was a bad mother.  See my crime was leaving a relationship that was killing me inside.  I never imagined that someone that loves their children would turn around and put them against the other parent. That is called Parental Alienation. I didn't know this until I left and it started happening.  I have forgiven everyone invo...
