Stillness. I welcome stillness. I welcome being still. I welcome time to just be. Quiet. Observing. Reflecting. Stillness. Before COVID-19, I practiced stillness. Staying home. Disconnecting. Sunday Vibes Day 2 of quarantine My sister and niece came over yesterday to see dad and spend the night. We laughed. We enjoyed time with each other. On Friday, I was officially sent home to self quarantine. The governor issued the order that all fitness centers had to closed state wide. I am going to welcome stillness. Only going out to get my dad's medicine. Yesterday my niece gave me a facial and massage.   My niece Vicky was in shock when she noticed that she had the same birthmark on her foot as I. My sister doesn't have this birthmark. We had to mark the moment with a picture. lol I told her she was special cuz she had titi's birthmark. lol Day 2 - today I filled the bird feeders, I definitely want to see my bird friends this week. As I sat here to write this blog. I had the doves come by and eat. And also the red cardinal. It's so beautiful outdoors.  Very tranquil. When you live with an open heart ....... you can't help but see everything thru the eyes of LOVE! When you see LOVE in everything....you are in a state of happiness....gratitude....joyful....peaceful....you are in a state of bliss! Your heart (even if you're going through tough times) is pouring out LOVE! You shine like a star! ** Close your eyes at this every moment and take a deep breathe in and as you let that breathe out.....imagine LOVE surrounds you...feel the warmth of a hug....a tingle of a kiss....just enjoy that bliss! What is required to have a healthy relationship? Some would say it takes a lot of work. That you have to have magic. Some have master the ART of having and maintaining a healthy relationship. Like most of us girls, we grew up watching fairy-tales with happy endings. These fairy-tales, did now prepare us for the “real” world. I believe we must first learn to have a healthy relationship with the most important person you will ever be in a relationship with in your lifetime ~ YOU! Do you love yourself? Love conquers all. I heard this growing up in sermons a lot. Yet during my darkest life lessons, I often wondered "does love really conquer all" because I was loving someone so much to the point. I neglected my own well-being to please another for love. I also heard the phrase "pray that God will change him" yet it wasn't until I began seeking answers to this phrase that I was enlightened. God gives us free will. God will not and can not change a person that doesn't seek change. So it doesn't matter how much you pray for someone. IF that person doesn't realize he/she has a problem and wants to change it will not happen. So I did two important things for ME.  Love does conquer all. I began to LOVE myself. Today as I sit here relaxing on this day May 8, 2016 celebrating Mother's Day just BEing. I reflect on memories shared with my children. I am grateful for all three of my children (Benny, Ashley, and Junior) and I wish them best in this world. Today, I share the photo I took with my oldest son on Friday May 6, 2016, so proud of his accomplishments. That is "A Mother's Pride" to see your children happy, healthy, and reaching for their own goals in life. My oldest son graduated from FSW with his Associates in Arts.  As you can see with the smile on my face. I was very proud of him. Happy that I was able to share his moment. I pray that Ashley and Junior will reach their own goals. I want what's best for my kids. I want them to know that they are more than capable of reaching their dreams. Each and every day we have a choice.  We can choose lower vibrational emotions or higher vibrational emotions.  I choose LOVE.  I choose to see to each lesson of my life in a loving way. I have made mistakes. I have been hurt. I have been treated badly BUT I choose to see LOVE. I know that they way I feel and the way I think will create my future. I choose LOVE, happiness, joy, peace, kindness, etc etc...... I challenge you to wake up each morning and think of something you LOVE.  Allow yourself to truly feel that energy fill your entire body.  Believe me it's a GOoD feeling. When you start this way and practice this each day you will see a big difference in your own well being and the way you look at life. Sending you light and love wrapped with Angel Blessings.

Today, I was guided to write about choosing love, having a voice and most importantly releasing fear.  As I was listening to a lecture about fear. I am reminded about my journey at releasing fear.  As I looked for an image on google to share on this blog post, I came across one of my very own images in which I posted on Pinterest exactly 2 years ago. As I read the words a clear affirmation "I release any fear that holds me back from having a voice" an overwhelming feeling of gratitude fills my spirit.  Fear kept my voice silent for many years. Fear of rejection. Fear of not doing or saying the right thing. Fear kept my voice silent for many years while I lived in a very destructive relationship.  So much has happened in the last two years since I posted this powerful affirmation.
