Do More Things That Make You Feel Alive!

When I was a young child, singing was one of my passions. I would sing with my sister at church. I loved it so much that in my teenage years, I would grab my hairbrush and pretend to be Madonna. Yes I was a fan. Singing was and still is a passion. I feel alive when I hear the music and sing the lyrics.  As I grew older though, I would get so nervous to sing in front of others at church. Talk about butterflies in my stomach. It's funny though because at work, if I hear a song that I love, I will just sing along. I guess it's different when all eyes are on you and you have a mic that's when the pressure is on. So when I found this app Smule , I downloaded it. It's been so much fun doing things that make me feel alive. Singing makes me feel alive. It makes me feel good. Singing oldies and classics.
The reason I am sharing this is because we should do more and more things that make us feel alive. Dancing. Singing, Gardening. Etc...etc... When you do things that make you feel good aka alive, you shift your energetic vibration. It's that simple.
I may not be the best singer but when I am singing, I feel that same passion that I feel when I am doing my aligning with heart spiritual work. It make me feel alive.
Today I invite you to take inventory on what things make you feel alive aka good. Write them down. Now I invite you to begin checking off those things. Find moments in which you can feel good. Find moments in which you can feel that passion. Find moments in which you can feel alive.  We are in control of how we wish to feel. Sing out loud. Dance like no one is watching. Be still. Ground yourself outdoors. Breathe in the fresh air and feel alive.
If you are on this app be sure to join me so we can duet and sing along together.
Sending you light and love.
Be Well.

The best portion of a good man's life - his little, nameless, unremembered acts of  kindness  and love.  William Wordsworth Something happen this week "an act of kindness" that brings me to share with you the importance for us to have kindness in our daily life. A few days ago, there was a knock at my door. My dogs started barking. My kids questioned who was at the door. Like normal, I looked out the crack of the window to see who it was...I saw a small blue car at the entrance of my driveway and saw a man at the door. With my kids behind me and my dogs still barking, I opened the door and say "Yes, can I help you?". The gentlemen handed me a small bag, as it was placed in my hands it felt soft ( I couldn't imagine what was inside of it ...

Think Positive Thoughts

Over the years, a lot has been written and said about the power of positive thinking. All of it is based on the premise that what's in your head - positive thoughts - inevitably influences what's in your heart as well as how you behave. Here are some examples of the kind of positive thoughts that can lead to happiness: This is such a lovely day. There really are nice people in the world - like the driver who let me pull in front of him so that I could turn at the light. My partner is such a thoughtful person. I'm not rich, but I'm thankful that I have enough to pay my bills. I'm a very healthy person for my age. I love it when I hear the birds start to sing - it means spring is on the way. That massage felt wonderful! It's always great to hear from my kids - even when they have a problem. If I could live my life all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. ** Carry a notebook with you and write down every posit...
